June 27 – Full Moon in Capricorn

The Moon in Capricorn is the ideal time to reflect upon your achievements, dreams and goals; as well as your experience of autonomy, and external/personal authority.

Use this time to review structures and boundaries in your life; reflect on themes of responsibility, self-discipline, hard work, solitude and loneliness; work out logistics, re-organize, make long term plans; and ask the hard questions:

What are the Great Works of my life?
Where am I called to act with integrity?
What aspects of my life are in need of discipline and effort?
Where in my life are boundaries and structure needed?
Where do I still need to grow up?
What am I asking of another that I need to do for myself?
Where and how do I try to avoid personal responsibility?
What have I always been called to attempt or take on, but have failed to do so out of fear?
What is most important to me, and do I have the courage to live that out in the world?
Where/how am I seeking permission or approval?

During the full moon phase:

  1. You may begin to see the results of seeds that were planted during the New Moon phase.
  2. Now is the time to shine, to share your creativity for the world to see.
  3. Things come to light. This can be good or bad depending on what is being spotlighted. Pay attention to what is revealed to you during this time.
  4. Relationships are highlighted. Whether you are in a conflict with another or attracted to another, the relationship is a mirror. How can what you are seeing/judging/desiring in the Other teach you about yourself? The full moon is an invitation to develop perspective and awareness.
  5. Polarities are at play: light and dark; marriage and divorce; beginnings and endings; pros and cons. Each has something to teach the Other.
  6. Emotions, tensions, ideas – everything is heightened at the Full Moon. Do your best to step back, practice objectivity, and to see what the Other has to teach you.
